JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Ed Emery, R-Lamar, discusses Senate Bill 617, 611 and 667, legislation that seeks to make changes to the state income tax. The measure received first-round Missouri Senate approval and would still need another positive vote to send it to the Missouri House of Representatives for similar consideration. He also talks about ongoing work with both Senate Bill 564 and House Bill 2265, both of which relate to utilities and grid modernization.
