HCS/SCS/SB 598 - This act allows the Department of Transportation to establish a utility corridor that is up to 12 feet wide, with the location of such corridor determined by the State Highways and Transportation Commission. This act also requires the Commission to promulgate rules setting forth a system fo requesting and issuing variances to requirements. This act is similar to SB 380 (2017) and HB 1310 (2015).
