SCS/SB 598 - This act allows the Department of Transportation to establish a utility corridor that is up to 12 feet wide when space is reasonably available. Utility providers shall be reimbursed by the Department of Transportation for the expense of moving any preexisting utility facility located outside of an existing right-of-way or utility corridor that is acquired for the purpose of expanding a state highway or utility corridor. This act is similar to SB 380 (2017) and HB 1310 (2015). KAYLA HAHN
