SB 873 - This act requires that before January 1, 2019, the State Board of Education convene a work group to explore a course for ninth grade students that covers topics related to exploring various career and educational opportunities, as specified in the act. The course shall focus on career readiness and emphasize the importance of work ethic, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity.
