SB 813 - This act classifies any offense of peace disturbance as a Class A misdemeanor for which a person shall be sentenced to pay a fine of no less than one thousand dollars and no more than five thousand dollars or sentenced to imprisonment for seven to thirty days, if that offense results in the obstruction of an interstate highway or limited access highway, or in the unreasonable and physical obstruction of the free ingress and egress to or from a provider of emergency medical services. Additionally, any person who commits the offense of peace disturbance and obstructs an interstate highway or limited access highway, or obstructs the free ingress and egress to a provider of emergency medical services, shall be civilly liable to any person for whom harmed is caused by such action for economic damages.
