HB 2360 Modifies provisions regarding public safety officers whose children and spouses are eligible for a survivor's and disabled employee's educational grant

SCS/HB 2360 - This act adds several professions, including air ambulance pilots, air ambulance registered professional nurses, air ambulance registered respiratory therapists, uniformed employees of the Office of the State Fire Marshal, and specified emergency medical technicians, to the list of professionals whose children and spouses are eligible to receive a public safety officer or employee survivor grant from the Coordinating Board for Higher Education within the Department of Higher Education. The act also adds these professions to the list of those eligible to receive compensation under the Line of Duty Compensation Act.

This act is identical to provisions in the truly agreed to CCS/HCS/SS/SB 870 (2018), and similar to HCS/SS/SB 124 (2017) and HB 1964 (2016).
