HCS/HB 2274 - This act specifies that Missouri DeMolay special license plates may be issued for any motor vehicle a member of Missouri DeMolay owns, other than apportioned motor vehicles and commercial motor vehicles registered in excess of 24,000 pounds gross weight. The act waives the requirement that signatures be submitted to the Department of Revenue prior to issuance of the plates, but specifies that the Department may require payment of a $5,000 fee prior to production and may charge a $15 special license plate fee for the plates.
