HB 1608 - This act requires the Committee on Legislative Research to annually, before December 31st, review all bills that were passed in the most recent legislative session. The Committee shall review the fiscal notes for the bill and determine if a difference exists between the projected and actual fiscal impact of the bill. Any difference shall be reported to the General Assembly. Before January 31, 2019, and every year thereafter, the Committee shall review all bills that were at least one full fiscal year, but not more than two fiscal years, prior to determine if a difference exists between the projected and actual fiscal impact of the bill. When the fiscal note exceeds two million dollars, any difference greater than five percent of the original fiscal note shall be reported to the General Assembly.
