JEFFERSON CITY — This Week in the Missouri Senate reviews:

  • Senate Bill 190, legislation that seeks to modify provisions relating to ratemaking for public utilities (Audio: Bill sponsor, Sen. Ed Emery, R-Lamar, and Senate Minority Floor Leader Gina Walsh, D-Bellefontaine Neighbors);
  • Senate Bill 213, a measure that would establish requirements for certain settlement offers of tort claims which must be accepted within a specified period of time (Audio: Bill sponsor, Sen. Caleb Rowden, R-Columbia, and Sen. Scott Sifton, D-Affton); and
  • Senate Bill 293, which would modify the per-ton fee paid to the Missouri Division of Fire Safety for the use of explosives under the Missouri Blasting Safety Act (Audio: Bill sponsor, Sen. Gary Romine, R-Farmington, and Sen. Jason Holsman, D-Kansas City).
