JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Jill Schupp, D-Creve Coeur, discusses Missouri Senate work on the state’s Fiscal Year 2018 operating budget; House Committee Bill 3, a measure that seeks to modify provisions relating to funds for vulnerable senior citizens; Senate Bill 313, legislation that would modify provisions relating to elementary and secondary education; and Senate Bill 490, which would require certain health care professionals to complete two hours of suicide prevention training as a condition of initial licensure and as a condition of license renewal. Senator Schupp sponsors this proposal, which is now in the Missouri House of Representatives.
