JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Bill Eigel, R-Weldon Spring, discusses Senate Bill 457, legislation that seeks to remove certain roads from the responsibility of the State Highways and Transportation Commission and direct certain sales and use tax funds into the state road fund. His proposal was heard by the Missouri Senate Transportation, Infrastructure and Public Safety Committee this week. He also talks about Senate Bill 428, a measure that would authorize charter schools to be operated in any school district of the state. The Missouri Senate Education Committee heard his plan on Tuesday.
