HCS/HB's 1194 & 1193 - Under this act, state minimum wage laws shall preempt and nullify all political subdivision ordinances, rules, and regulations currently in effect or later enacted relating to the establishment or enforcement of a minimum or living wage or the provisions of employment benefits. The act additionally repeals all statutory reference to the existence of local minimum wage laws. This act contains an emergency clause. SCOTT SVAGERA
