HCB 5 - This act requires each school district, after the 2017-2018 school year, to offer a course on computer programming to all high school students. The course shall count as an elective course or practical arts course for purposes of graduation requirements. Each student shall choose if the course counts as an elective or practical arts course. The course shall be taught by a certified teacher and may be offered as an online course or through videoconferencing.
