HB 697 - This act requires the Amber Alert System Oversight Committee to meet at least annually to discuss potential improvements to the Amber Alert System.

Additionally, this act creates "Hailey's Law", which requires the Amber Alert System to be integrated into the Missouri Uniform Law Enforcement System (MULES) and the Regional Justice Information Service (REJIS) to expedite reporting of child abductions.

This act is identical to provisions in HCS/SB 25 (2017) and HCS/SB 282 (2017) and similar to HCS/HB 635 (2015) and HB 2248 (2014).
