This Week in the Missouri Senate for the Week of Feb. 1: Committee Hearings

JEFFERSON CITY — This Week in the Missouri Senate reviews:

  • Senate Concurrent Resolution 58, which urges the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency to build a new facility in the city of St. Louis (Audio: Senate Minority Floor Leader Joseph Keaveny, D-St. Louis, and Senate President Pro Tem Ron Richard, R-Joplin);
  • Senate Bill 661 and Senate Bill 726, which seek to change a provision specifying when law enforcement officers are justified in using deadly force (Audio: Sen. Bob Dixon, R-Springfield, and Sen. Jamilah Nasheed, D-St. Louis); and
  • Senate Bill 851, a measure that would allow qualified motorcycle riders to operate motorcycles without protective headgear, under certain conditions (Audio: Sen. Dan Brown, R-Rolla, and Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal, D-University City).
