Senator Parson Achieves 100 Percent Voting Record on Small Business Issues

The National Federation of Independent Business issued a “thank you” on behalf of their 8,500 members to Senator Mike Parson for achieving a perfect 100 percent voting record in the 2015-16 legislative session on the issues affecting small business such as:

  • Workers’ compensation reform
  • Small-business tax reduction
  • Unemployment benefits reform
  • Tort Reform
  • Withholding tax changes
  • Labor law reform

Small business is what drives Missouri’s economy.  “Having a 100 percent voting record with NFIB is a major accomplishment. It shows a commitment to the survival and success of Missouri’s small-business economy and small business owners,” said Sen. Parson.
