Jefferson City – State Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal, D-University City, will host a listening session on the health concerns of former residents who lived in or near the historic African American community called Robertson, which is now part of Hazelwood. If you lived in the area, or know of any people who used to live in Robertson, please attend this meeting. It is imperative that we gather information from former residents about potential exposure to radioactive waste, which causes high rates of cancer. Many of the residents have transitioned due to cancer but the epidemic has not been adequately recorded. This public interest meeting will take place at:
First Missionary Baptist Church of Robertson
Sun., Dec. 4th at 3p.m.
