SB 1098 - Currently, when a county officer vacates office, such officer must return copies of all laws and revised statutes received by him or her to the clerk of the circuit court. Failure to do so currently requires the officer to forfeit the sum of five dollars. This act increases the amount to four hundred dollars. JIM ERTLE
