SS/SCS/SB 704 - This act requires every department and division of the state, including the General Assembly and the offices of statewide elected officials, to make information available to the public relating to all contracts entered into greater than $2,500 for the provision of legal services by private law firms. The act further provides that any political subdivision, state agency, state department, or institution of higher education which receives public funds shall make all final audit reports available to the public as well as all records reviewed, obtained, or created by the State Auditor or other outside auditor. Audit reports which are already publicly available on the internet may be posted on the Missouri Accountability Portal by use of a hyperlink to the website where such report may be found.
