SB 687 - Under this act, electrical corporations are required to implement a tracking mechanism to calculate all costs incurred in order to comply with federal regulations relating to carbon emissions for existing sources. Beginning January 1, 2017, electrical corporations shall include a line-item on each customer bill with the amount due from the customer in order for the electrical corporation to comply with such regulations. This act is substantially similar to HB 1967 (2016). KAYLA HAHN
