Senate Substitute

SS/SJR 23 - Currently, in order to be submitted to the voters of Missouri for consideration, initiative petitions proposing amendments to the Constitution must be signed by 8% of the legal voters in each of 2/3 of the congressional districts in the state. This proposed constitutional amendment, if approved by the voters, changes the threshold to 6% percent of legal voters in each of the congressional districts.
