HCS/HB 1684 - This act allows cities, towns, or villages located in first or second class counties to consolidate if they have entered into certain intergovernmental agreements, if they are separated by less than 1 mile, and they are connected by at least 2 rights of way. In addition, two or more municipalities in a third class county may consolidate despite being separated by up to 1.5 miles under this act. This act is similar to SB 1047 (2016). MEGHAN LUECKE
