HB 2230 - Current law prohibits a person from riding or sitting on the gunwales, decking over the bow, railing, top of a seat back, or decking over the back of a moving motorboat unless the person is inboard of adequate guards or a railing. This act provides that the restriction does not apply to vessels propelled by outboard jet motors or vessels not originally manufactured with adequate guards or railings.
