HCS/HB 1601 - This act requires the Governor to appoint an active classroom teacher, as defined in the act, as a teacher representative on the State Board of Education. Such teacher shall not have a vote on any matter. The term of the teacher representative shall be four years and shall be made in rotation from each congressional district.
