HB 1401 - This act allows the board of trustees of any community college district to establish regulations to control vehicular traffic on any thoroughfare owned or maintained by the community college district and located within any of its campuses.

This act also requires college police officers appointed by the trustees of any community college district to complete a training course for peace officers and meet all requirements of the law governing peace officers.

This act is substantially similar to HB 210 (2015) and to provisions contained in CCS/SS/HB 1707 (2014).
