SB 389 - This act requires the Director of Revenue to follow the bidding procedures contained in current law relating to purchases made on competitive bids. The Director is further permitted to promulgate rules necessary to establish such procedures. Points shall not be awarded to a bidder on a request for proposal for a contract license office for a return-to-the-state provision offer. The act further requires the Director of Revenue to give special consideration to tax-exempt organizations and entities that reinvest seventy-five percent of the net proceeds of the fees collected in charitable organizations in Missouri when awarding fee office contracts. This act contains an emergency clause. This act is similar to HB 137 (2015). SCOTT SVAGERA
