SB 292 - Currently, 1% of the total agricultural acreage in this state may be foreign owned. This act changes this to 1/2%. Additionally, this act allows aliens or foreign businesses to acquire an additional 20% of acreage above that currently owned. This act is similar to SB 12 (2015), HB 698 (2015), HB 260 (2015), HB 1918 (2014), SS/SCS/HCS/HB 1326 (2014), and HCS/SB 506 (2014). KAYLA CRIDER
