SCR 40 - This resolution creates the Study Commission on Mining Property Assessment. The Commission will be composed of members of the General Assembly, county assessors, industry experts, and school administrators. The Commission is tasked with studying how mining property is assessed in this state. The Commission must submit a report to the General Assembly by December 31, 2015, detailing its findings and proposed legislation. MIKE HAMMANN
