SB 313 - Currently, an advanced practice registered nurse who holds a certificate of controlled substance prescriptive authority and who is delegated the authority to prescribe controlled substances under a collaborative practice arrangement may prescribe Schedule III, IV, and V controlled substances. This act allows advanced practice registered nurses with a certificate of controlled substance prescriptive authority and pursuant to a collaborative practice arrangement the authority to also prescribe Schedule II controlled substances. Schedule II controlled substance prescriptions are limited to one hundred twenty-hour supply without refill. Schedule III controlled substance prescriptions are no longer limited to a one hundred twenty-hour supply without refill when prescribed by an advanced practice registered nurse. JESSI BAKER
