SB 333 - This act allows the family or next of kin of a deceased crime victim to sign a notarized statement designating a funeral home as a claimant eligible for compensation from the Crime Victims' Compensation Fund. The definition of claimant for purposes of the statutes related to the fund is modified under this act to include a funeral home designated to receive compensation. This act is identical to a provision of HCS/HB 209 (2015), HB 390 (2015). MEGHAN LUECKE
