HB 740 - Currently, a court shall order the Director of Revenue to suspend a defendant's driving privileges for failing to appear or pay any fine or court costs associated with a moving traffic violation. This act makes such order permissive and requires a request for such order from the prosecutor having original jurisdiction over the moving traffic violation.
