HB 476 Modifies state funding for small school districts

HCS/HB 476 -- This act provides that in any school year when a district's average daily attendance increases from 350 or less to more than 350, or decreases from more than 350 to 350 or less, the district will receive state aid based on the district's average daily attendance in the school year immediately preceding the increase or decrease. The district will continue to receive state aid based on the district's immediately preceding ADA in the previous school year until the increase or decrease in ADA is maintained for two consecutive school years. When the ADA is maintained for two consecutive school years, the district will receive state aid based on the ADA maintained for the two school years.
