HJR 7 Removes restrictions on bingo advertising and educes the duration of organizational membership requirement for the administration of bingo games

HCS/HJR 7 - Upon voter approval, this constitutional amendment modifies provisions relating to bingo games. Currently, only religious, charitable or civic organization may operate a bingo game. To manage or operate a bingo game, a person must have been a member of such organization for at least two years. Advertising of bingo games may only be conducted on the premises of the organization or by communications between the organization and its members.

This amendment reduces the membership time period to operate or manage bingo to six months. The amendment also removes the advertisement restrictions.
