HB 776 - This act creates the Commission on Capitol Security Infrastructure. The Commission is composed of the Governor, the President Pro Tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives. The Commission shall oversee the general supervision of the Capitol building as well as any nearby buildings that house offices of the General Assembly or its staff. Currently, the Department of Public Safety is responsible for the employment of Missouri Capitol police officers. This act provides that the Commission shall assume such duties.
