HB 462 - This act specifies that a deed restriction, covenant, or similar binding agreement running with a parcel of land cannot prohibit or have the effect of prohibiting the display of political signs. A homeowners' association may adopt reasonable rules regarding the display of political signs as specified in the act. A homeowners' association may remove a political sign without liability in certain situations outlined in the act, otherwise the sign shall not be removed or fine or penalty imposed until three days after providing written notice to the homeowner of a violation, which shall identify the rule and nature of the violation.
