HB 1116 - This act designates May 7th of every year as "ROHHAD Awareness Day" in Missouri. Rapid-onset obesity with hypothalamic dysfunction, hypoventilation and autonomic dysregulation (ROHHAD) presenting in childhood is a rare syndrome characterized by rapid-onset obesity in the first ten years of life, impairment of the autonomic nervous system, and later onset of reduced lung function.JIM ERTLE
