SB 430 - This act provides that when a city, town, or village seeks to annex an area that contains a portion of a state highway, including an interstate highway, the proposed annexation must include the area that extends one mile directly perpendicular to the outer edge of each of the two outermost lanes on both sides of the highway. If the annexation is successful, the municipality must provide services to the area.
