Current Bill Summary

SJR 44 - This constitutional amendment, if approved by the voters, requires that any revenue received by the state in a fiscal year in excess of the amount appropriated for such fiscal year shall be returned to taxpayers in the form of a refundable tax credit. Any refund authorized under this act shall be subordinate to and not in addition to any refund under the Hancock Amendment.
