SB 489 - This act provides that a Supreme, Appellate or Circuit Court judge who is appointed shall be disqualified from hearing a case when an attorney or a party to the case being heard served on the Appellate or one of the Circuit Judicial Commissions that nominated the judge.

This act is similar to SB 351 (2013).
