SS/SB 782 - This act would allow an individual with certification from the American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence (ABCTE) to obtain teacher certification in the area of elementary education. An applicant for teacher certification through ABCTE in the area of elementary education must complete ninety contact hours, of which at least thirty must be in an elementary classroom. MICHAEL RUFF
