HCS/HBs 1307 & 1313 - This act amends the current waiting period for having an abortion from twenty-four hours to seventy-two hours. This act also requires the physician who is to perform or induce an abortion or a qualified professional to show the pregnant woman a video created by the Department of Health and Senior Services containing all of the required informed consent provisions prior to performing or inducing the abortion.
