SB 954 - Currently lienholders must mail or deliver a certificate or other document to the owner of a motor vehicle or trailer when the lien has been satisfied. This act requires lienholders to release the lien by electronic means established by the director of revenue and electronically transmit the release to the owner of the motor vehicle or trailer.
