SB 893 - This act moves the date of the state primary election from the first Tuesday after the first Monday in August to the third Tuesday after the first Monday in June. Currently, candidate filing for the election is conducted between the last Tuesday in February to the last Tuesday in March. Under the act filing will be conducted between the second Tuesday in January to the first Tuesday in February. CHRIS HOGERTY
