SB 802 - This act changes from within 30 days to within 45 days the time period in which the Children's Division within the Department of Social Services shall complete a child abuse or neglect investigation unless good cause for the failure to do so is documented in the information system. Also, currently, the Children's Division has 90 days after receipt of such completed child abuse or neglect investigation report to make a determination of whether or not abuse or neglect has occurred. This act extends such time period to 100 days. ADRIANE CROUSE
