SB 600 - Currently, certain family members of resident members of the U.S. military may receive special personalized gold star license plates upon payment of an additional fee and meeting certain other requirements. This act removes the additional fee. Any person seeking such license plates must apply on a form provided by the director of the Department of Revenue and furnish such proof of eligibility as the director may require. There shall be no limit on the number of license plates any qualified person may obtain so long as each set of license plates is issued for vehicles owned solely or jointly by such person.
