HCS/HB 1377 - This act modifies the "Public Service Officer or Employee Survivor Grant Program", which provides grants to eligible children of public safety officers or employees killed or permanently and totally disabled in the line of duty. This act expands the definition of "public safety officer" to include any uniformed employee of the office of the State Fire Marshall and emergency medical technicians.
