SCS/SB 746 - This act exempts violations of traffic laws that are enforced through automated traffic systems from the mandatory driver's license points system and defines those violations as infractions subject to fines no more than $135.00. This act also prohibits a court entering a plea of guilty or a finding of guilt from forwarding such plea or finding to the Department of Revenue. This act requires that jurisdictions utilizing automated traffic enforcement systems comply with the Department of Transportation regulations on automated traffic enforcement.
