SCS/SB 239 - This act prohibits school districts from requiring a student to use an identification device that uses radio frequency identification technology to identify the student, transmit information regarding the student, or monitor or track the location of the student. This section is identical to HB 806 (2013). (Section 167.168) This act extends, from August 28, 2014, to August 28, 2020, the authorization for individuals to obtain teacher certification based on certification by the American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence.
