SB 12 - This act provides immunity from civil liability, including malpractice claims, for attorneys appointed by the court to represent indigent defendants in criminal cases. Court appointed attorneys may be liable in situations where they acted willfully wrong or with malice or corruption. This act also contains an emergency clause. JESSICA BAKER
