SB 108 - Under the terms of this act, fines imposed for violations detected through the use of automatic traffic enforcement systems shall go to the local school districts where the violation occurred to be used for transportation purposes. The fines distributed to a school district shall not be included in the school district's local effort figure under the foundation formula. Under the act, automated traffic enforcement systems also include automated speed enforcement systems. This act is similar to SB 589 (2012) and SB 73 (2011). STEPHEN WITTE
